My Medium of Choice.
Graphic Design has long been a passion of mine. As early as a teenager when I was first introduced to photo shop and the wonderful world of image manipulation, I knew it was a profession I wanted to pursue. I was fortunate enough to find Graphic Design work straight out of High School, which helped me pay my way through college. My experience has been broad, working in different professions where Graphic Design was needed. From Distribution Companies, Marketing, Religious Groups, School Districts, Non-Profit Organizations, Real Estate, and Teaching Graphic Design has kept me growing along with the appropriate software
Esports Logo & Branding Design
I was asked to create a logo for the Esports club at Heights High School. I wanted to create something original and unique to create a brand in which the students could rally under. The club was still in its infancy when I was approached, and I was able to work closely with the sponsors of the club, to create a look and a branding campaign to help them get off to a great start!
Designing & Building a TV SetEarly on in my career, I was fortunate to be a part of a communications team where I was the head Graphic Designer / Photographer. As part of my duties, I designed and created logos, publications, posters, billboard ads, and also was fortunate to get to design and supervise the building of Game set and news set as well. The following images are part of my thought process and design.

Bike Houston Water Bottle Design Challenge
In 2018, I took the challenge to design the next water bottle for Bike Houston to be sold at Bike Barn for a limited time. All funds and proceeds would benefit the non-profit organization. I was one of the finalists and ultimately the chosen artist to represent Bike Houston's Water Bottle design. It all started with a digital illustration of what I conceptualized to be one of the best representations of our city of Houston and cycling.
Photograph Restoration and Colorization.
One of the most rewarding accomplishments in my career has been to be able to make an impact in my community and with clients. I began learning how to restore photos early in my career, but I have only started to add color to old black and white photographs only just a couple of years ago. It goes to show, that you never can truly stop learning. The amount of joy and satisfaction from my clients has been very rewarding to see relatives that might have passed away in color as they would have looked when they were young. Many during Harvey lost all the photos they had to water damage, and being able to restore some as best as possible was a great gift I was able to give back to those who lost much during the Hurricane / Storm. has kept me motivated to continue applying my skill set in this avenue.
Custom Misc. Work
These are my own artistic interpretations of various designs that I conceptualized. They were not intended for any specific use, just me playing with photoshop .

T-Shirt Designs
Having learnt the screen print process in art school, has always made me appreciate T-shirt design. I like to challenge myself to come up with intricate designs that work well within the constrains of the medium to get as much details as possible into the design, taking into consideration the amount of colors a client requests and the color of the shirt. Furthermore, my passion for cycling has inspired me to create my own line of tshirts that are marketed to cyclist enthusiasts.
Photography & Design
The perfect marriage. Where would photography be without the help of some magical photoshop touch-ups, manipulation, and graphic? The perfect opportunity came along when I started to work freelance as a photographer, working the youth leagues and getting great clients.
Job Fair Booth Design & Set Up:
I was contracted by Galena Park in 2015-2016 to create their booth set up for their annual job fair. As part of the fair, the District hosts a competition between campuses for the best booth design. I am proud to say my designs took 1st place both years I participated with them.
Rafael Pruneda Political Campaign
In 2019-2020 I was contracted to run the visual and marketing for the Rafael Pruneda Political Campaign. I was also in charge of the photography, website and social media campaign as well.
Publications: Yearbook
A true labor of love. Each page was hand crafted, and created from a blank canvas on Photoshop, and carefully built up to include as many images and story as we could fit on each spread. Working on the yearbook for 3 years was such a challenge, and preparing the students for the type of collaboration that reminded me of my time in the communications department is truly rewarding. Learning how real world applications to the skill set they are acquiring in our classes is paramount to their success in the professional world as they gain valuable experience in the field of Graphic Design. The amount of team work, comradeship, and learning that takes place is incredible to witness when working on a project of such magnitude.
