Luis Pruneda.
Born and raised in South Texas, I am a native Laredoan. I attended school there, and having to work my way through college, I decided to attend Texas A&M International University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Art and Minor in Communication. Living in a border town, and growing along two rich cultures, has inspired a lot of my own artistic aesthetic. Being from a small town gave me the thirst to try and put my skills to the test in bigger markets and try myself out in a big city. My ultimate goal has always been to continue to grow as a professional, as an artist, and as a person. This led me to meet my wife, and now have 3 beautiful children which continue to push me to be a great example to them.
I have found a lot of work here in Houston which has expanded my portfolio in ways I never dreamed of. In the beginning it seemed to me, that working in a coveted profession, it would be hard to gain entrance and establish myself as an artist. I was very satisfied to learn that this was not the case, and have had a very successful career doing one of the things I love. I attribute my early success to the early start as the head of a Graphic Design Department. Continuing to work in the field of the Visual Communications field, gave the skill sets necessary to continue to grow professionally and always satisfy my customers. I now boast of over 18 years of experience, and am happy to report that I continue to learn new things every day and am always in search for ways of becoming a better artist, father, husband, & person.
